  Down side; the terrace in which I stayed is showing it's age. Marked walls, torn curtains, and a faulty air-conditioning control detracting from the experience.

  The restaurant options are great. I E joyed a waghu steak one night and lamb shank the second. Both were cooked to me request. The staff make the place. Friendly, obliging and delivered above and beyond.

  Once we were stopped and asked by long term residents if we were staying at the resort as we walked around the resort. They said there was a problem with people coming in and breaking things. I didn't enjoy that part of my stay.

  Great resort with good, well equipped rooms and excellent onsite amenities (4 pools and lots of tennis courts). The location is spectacular, on the bank of lake Macquarie, just a short drive away from some incredible beaches. I visit here frequently with my kids and have never been disappointed. Very good resort.

  The resort is ideally located on Lake Macquarie, the grounds are well maintained but that is as far as it goes. The management is certainly below par. The accommodation we stayed in for 5 days had annoying squeaky floors, front door lock failures, [not once but many times we had to get the cards re programmed and it was not due to us having the cards near a mobile phone as was suggested], unable to speak with reception when phoned from the room, always went to a recording and no response forthcoming. There was no TV reception the whole 5 days and no suggestion by management to compensate or say sorry for a service that should have been repaired immediately. Very poor, I would not recommend this resort until there is a change in management. John

  Really great few days here. The place is right on the water and it feels so cut off from the rest of the world. The cottages are really nice and cosy.
